On the morning of August 9, 2017, a hole in the cloud had been seen in Helsinki. Shortly before half a day, I waited in the yard looking at the sky, when a hole in the cloud also happened to my eyes and still so that an elongated cloud passed through it. I didn’t have a chance to stay to see its changes, but I did have time to take a picture of it.

Bongail mostly from the train window a reasonably spectacular hole cloud between Pakkala / Vantaa - Hiekkaharju / Vantaa - Savio / Kerava. I probably saw it almost from the beginning to the end, unfortunately there was no video function on when the train curved from Leinelä near Koivukylä. From the time of the inconspicuous beginning at 7.45 am, by 8 o'clock a rather spectacular hole developed unless it is a matter of two different sightings. The phenomenon lasted until 8.39, when it was almost full.

I had read about the morning cloud observations and was a degree more vigilant. Apparently, in the aftermath of morning activity, hole clouds appeared later, though not as spectacular. I grabbed the attached revelation through the home window.

I meant to go for breakfast in the wrong throat when I just glanced out otherwise. The most amazing hole cloud I have ever seen! Impressive revelation!

At half past nine in the morning, such a special cloud formation was seen above Helsinki from Rautatientori, which I understand is called the fallstreak cloud in Eglan. An interesting looking phenomenon that aroused the hum of many commuters in the morning :)

As I was going to the gym, I noticed a surprisingly symmetrical opening in a cloud of skies covering the sky. Curiosity aroused to such an extent that I moved to a slightly better viewing position to see the opening as a whole, and at this point it was confirmed that it was indeed a circular opening, and not a tear that was a bit there. I remembered that I had heard of this at some point, so I took a picture and as I continued my journey I refreshed my memory with a quick surf; after all, it was a hole cloud, so when I was in the hall, when I was hurried and cleaned, it was a place for a guard...

The largest cloud of holes I have ever seen. Length over 60 degrees on the sky deck. The crystals fell a little earlier.

As we drove to kindergarten in the morning, my 4-year-old daughter noticed something beautiful in the sky. He regretted that he did not have a cell phone to immortalize the sky. I stopped the car and looked at what it was all about. A rare hole cloud! We stayed to watch it for a while and took a couple of pictures. My daughter said she was going to put a picture on the wall because it would light up the whole room at night :) (?)

In the altocumulus veil covering the whole sky, a circular hole estimated to be a few kilometers wide. Initially, there were streaks / streaks near the center. I Google that it was obviously a so-called "fallstreak hole" and during the 15 minute morning run I noticed many planes flying from Helsinki-Vantaa in the direction of that hole. At the time of shooting, there were no more line clouds in the middle of the hole because the hole had shifted slightly to the east.

A spectacular cloud of holes (or a careless flying saucer pilot had left proof to launch) that expired about ten minutes after I noticed it. Interval between the first and last image 30 min.

On the way to work we stopped with my daughter to photograph an opening in the clouds. The boundaries of the cloud were so sharp that we wondered what would cause this. Is there a name for this phenomenon and could anyone tell me what causes such a phenomenon?

When I got to work in the parking lot, I started to see that the sky is now full of exciting hustle and bustle in every direction. I wondered if there was a blue sky behind the trees in the middle of all that nonsense and in a better place when it got so exposed as a cloud of holes.

The morning's cheering was the admiration of the hole cloud, which had already expired five minutes later.

The wife put pictures of a strange cloud formation on a business trip along Ring Road II in Espoo. The tower shown in the pictures is Niittykumpu's new tower building. Unfortunately, I myself am not able to see the formation and I am sharing second-hand information here. The phenomenon is still acute.
