Sun

11.9.2017 at 18.42 - Järvenpää (III)
Matti Salo, Keski-Uudenmaan Altair

After a short break, the schoolchildren's star club was started and the first night was favorable and we got to watch the Sun. The tube was the old Tal-1 and when the young people are on the move, everyone also has a camera in their pocket, which we more commonly call a cell phone. So I also tried my luck and it became a sample.

3.9.2017 at 15.50 - Kouvola (III)
Tero Sipinen, Ursa (Etelä-Suomi)

There were such large spots in the sun that the largest one was separated by merry through the Astrosolar membrane alone. The comma AR2673 is right here taking on a growth spurt where its size increased tenfold in a day. On September 6th, it then slammed into the X9.3 rumble, the strongest in more than a decade.

Jarkko Laukkanen, Ursa (Länsi-Suomi)

The Autumn Sun has provided a long time to see! Handsome sunspots and dot groups have wandered in front of the Sun. At the mercy of the weather, observations have been made, between a cloud of rapids. But, diligence ultimately rewards you and you get to enjoy the pictures. Here is the picture on 04.09.2017. Processing DPP4 (RAW => JPG, exposure, colors, brightness curve), GIMP (Unsharp Mask), Paint. Net (finishing and embroidery).

Pia Simonen

There hasn’t come a photograph of the sun with spots in mind but in the fog pictures this morning, there seems to be one small dot. At first I thought it was rubbish but stubbornly it stays in every picture at the same time :-)
