I set out in search of the dark sky and the Milky Way in Patvinsuo National Park with my camera and tracking trip. Both were found and traded on top of the northern lights. Even when the technique played, the trip was quite successful. #bongaalinnunrata

Inspired by zodiac photographs, I thought of driving to Lapua Alajoki to see if it would be dark enough there. While driving there, I sadly noticed that there was quite a lot of fog in the river valley and the frost was lower there at about -20, even though it was only -13 a little higher in the terrain when I left home. Fortunately, there was a fog-free place to park the car. It is a pity that the fog in the surroundings, together with the light pollution, made it impossible to observe the zodiac light. Instead, a dim belt of northern lights was visible in the northern sky through the fog gau...

#bongaalinnunrata challenge, I decided to try to see if the Milky Way came out of Oulunkylä in the backyard. For exposure I tried 30s and 60s 120s and 300s shots, for the individual I think the 60s shown here was the best. I tried Pinota (Maxim Dl) up to 40min from the front but not to mention the Milky Way. (Another picture.) With a laser pointer I tried to hit the swan at the deneb, a slight hut;) camera canon 600d, big 800, Tamron 12-24 mm widescreen lens. Eos ccd Clip light pollution filter, Stand StarAdwenture

#bongaalinnunrata This time I went to try to photograph the Milky Way from the seaside of Mellsten, yes it was a bit visible in the picture. His eyes could barely see the Milky Way, very faintly something separated. I combined 16 images of the entire Milky Way image, it was not quite successful. Gimp has a bit of more bird's eye view visible. The picture clearly shows the effect of light pollution on the city and Kirkkonummi. I also made a panorama from the image in Figure 16, which shows the orbit a little dimly to the west. The vertical image also shows the galaxy of Andromeda. Even nort...

# Bongal Bird Trail Challenge Well now. I wouldn’t have thought I would get to the terrain anymore before the challenge ended. It happened differently :) During the day I was plagued by an icy lack of concentration. The thought ended up tangling up so badly that I thought I’d go hang out — there it might even be useful after all. Hanging in the field was rewarded with a tear-off of my cloud cover (momentary, don’t let anyone worry about the blame .....) and a piece of the repo arc. At the top, the Milky Way didn't want to be seen, is there even air glow in the pictures ..? Northern lights ...

After darkness, the imaging equipment of the hawk quickly piled up and I left for a familiar place to spot our home galaxy before the Moon rose. And at that point I had no idea what was waiting for me later in the evening! Arriving at the observation site shortly after 6 pm, the Milky Way still stood out moderately well with the naked eye, but gradually the light of the Moon (and the northern lights) made it disappear. The next hour and a half then went to watching and filming the magnificent Northern Lights play. A memorable evening! #bongaalinnunrata

# bongaalinnunrata- the challenge also ended in us at Laitila. This time the weather cleared so fast that I didn’t have time to go beyond the home village. The whole day has come to show back and forth with the camera. Namely, the bag was heated by Irix's 15mm acquisition, which has been waiting to weather for almost three long and painful weeks. The weather has been pretty epic bad for testing. I almost screamed with excitement when I realized I could try the Milky Way! It went well and effortlessly with the repocyte ... The Pori Bear Guards spent their Tuesday evening gathering at the Ulvila Observatory. #bongaalinnunrata if I could take another picture with the #bongaalinnunraata challenge, even from the clouds. Jarkko Suominen described the Lifting Weight Nebula with a telescope, Juha Ojanperä painted the beautiful interior structures of the tower with red light and I also described the opening of the cucumber, whether there is still time to take a few pictures before everything is covered in the cloud. The autumn holiday trip to North Karelia and New Moon were the most opportune moments to see the Milky Way, as in the darkness of the martyred country there were no more disturbing light sources in the midst of the dangers. Even a small not-so-good camera got the picture taken. #bongaalinnunrata

After an afternoon full of theory, the star photography workshop organized by the Helsinki Camera Society led us to Porkkalanniemi in Kirkkonummi. In this way, we immediately got to apply what we learned in practice. Luckily, the thick mist of the first trip evaporated when we reached the top of the headland and the sky was perfectly clear. The Milky Way was quite visible and the whole group got some great pictures. #bongaalinnunrata

Let me decide to go out and hurry the camera as soon as the clouds periodically stayed away. The bright moon disturbed what was rising, but the reposet was recorded nicely. I tried to get the Milky Way in the same picture, but it doesn’t really stand out in that amount of light. The first picture was taken at 23.32 and the second at 23.40. The fires disappeared at around 23.45, and the toes began to be so icy that it was better to leave. However, #bongaalinnunrata is still here :)

A cloudless evening for a long time. :) I went out and hug the camera in the hope of the northern lights or the Milky Way ... As I thought, the bright moon and the fresh rain had hampered my visibility in time. Although I was basically in an almost light-free place, the Milky Way did not stand out to the naked eye. But it was still great to listen to the emotional silence and wonder at the starry sky. #bongaalinnunrata

#bongaalinnunrata ... continued this time at home, these pictures were taken in Sorit, Laitila. Luck was able to bonga from the holidays of the clouds. I was already lulled into not photographing the Milky Way tonight. I set out to immerse my grief in the abyss. When I left there, the bright starry sky was visible in Kalanti, what the heck? #bongaalinnunrata For the first time this year, I was able to properly photograph the Milky Way and the weather was on the side for once. Normally, I'm used to shooting in the Tampere region, so it's nice to shoot a variation against the sea without such significant light pollution. Of course, there was still enough challenge in the filming. The lens seemed to mist up constantly, I meant to slip from the rock into the sea several times and the use of the Nanotracker tracking device didn’t really naturalize after a long break.

#bongaalinnunrata sky near Ylänen is dark to southern Finns, and I have spent numerous companies in this place. It is 40 km as the crow flies to the center of Turku, but the horizon to the south is still quite pale. I will also include one old (taken on 9 September 2013) picture from Enontekiö, because on my autumn trip this autumn, the clouds did not allow the Milky Way to be seen. The sky in Lapland is really dark, especially in Enontekiö, as there are no large ski resorts with illuminated slopes. The photo was taken just 10 km east of Enontekiö's largest agglomeration, Heta. We were so close to the settlement that we were free to choose whether the lights of Klaukkala, Helsinki or Espoo could be heard on the horizon. After the seemingly endless cloudiness, suddenly there was a completely cloudless clear sky and the fog was gone too! :) Hopefully I went to drive around Oulu in search of a dark place. However, the shooting conditions in terms of seeing were not as good as even though my observation in Rymättylä was in September. My wife and I admired the Milky Way at the cottage beach, and got excited to try filming the #bongaalinnunrata challenge. The shutter speed was 30 seconds, and I mostly shot at full aperture (Nikon D5300 and Sigma 10-20mm f4-5.6, ISO 10,000). We exposed each other to the pictures by flashing with a flashlight. Since we have previously enjoyed magical moments paddling in calm Törmäsjärvi under the starry sky, we tried to get a picture of the kayaking theme. It was nice, and the Milky Way was great!

I went to Pori and my mind made a quick visit to Yyyteri to see how the Milky Way can be seen there. The wind was strong and the sea was roaring. There was moisture in the air and the wasted light stained the sky yellow. However, the Milky Way stood out quite well above the sea. #bongaalinnunrata when the weather is right, it was dark in the nearby swamp.

It was nice to leave after a long cloud tube to paw under the clear starry sky =) I decided to curl up in the yard of the local campground, got there and inched in my mind that luckily there was no one around this time. In the darkness, I slowly paddled towards the pier, at the same time I began to listen as the swans chatted from the darkness of the opposite shore. At the same time among the stars, three stars decided to take off =) I inferred to myself that it was a badly atmospheric evening moment .. #bongaalinnunrata

#bongaalinnunrata Finally a bright evening. Ruissalo's Saaronniemi opens up a moderately wasteless sky between the south and the west, so the cape is a popular place to shoot when there is no time to go further. This time the view was somehow dim and the sky around the horizon was lighter than usual - was it due to the cloud of smoke and dust mentioned in the news the next morning? I crunched an image like this, but the contrast to the eye was considerably weaker; especially near the horizon the Milky Way was just barely visible.

Filming the Milky Way in Tammela. Poorly visible because it wasn’t completely dark yet and the schedule didn’t let me shoot very late. Shown perpendicular to the top. In addition to the star flight, one satellite seems to be visible in the picture. #bongaalinnunrata

Again, I went to Savitaipale in the darkness of Kärnäkoski to photograph the Milky Way in honor of a moonless and cloudless night (it has never been again). Compared to August, the Milky Way is already getting duller. You don't see such bright spots anymore. Next, focus on taking constellations with the js stand and Newton. #bongaalinnunrata

#bongaalinnunrata Starry Eat no clouds ... awesome! Yeah I still thought at that point. The pictures didn't want to be really finished, I photographed and always photographed yellow in every picture. I took a picture from both ends of the Milky Way and on the dimmer side I could see a straight yellow stripe. The first pictures I took while the sky was blue don’t look so bad yet yellow. The pictures also show satellites, I can't tell what they are called.

When the sands of the Sahara and the fumes of Portugal hit perhaps the only clear night in the shooting window in October, it’s annoying; The Milky Way diamond is missing! The mists and haze were already visible in the afternoon after sunset as a yellow-orange, bright zone reaching 2-3 degrees, and at night, according to satellite images, the clear sky was shrouded in thin wasteland. Attached is a particle mass visible on the horizon (and still visible at Jotsenen's height).

The tin bird rose from Turku and was apparently on its way to Gothenburg along the Milky Way. Very depressing situation, because I collected material for the streak image in the spirit of training and then behind the forest comes a motorized bastard with all the lights on ;-) That’s what it’s sometimes like filming the Milky Way and the Starry Sky. #bongaalinnunrata

#bongaalinnunrata It has been a long time to wait for a properly clear sky. So despite the shocking wind, I navigated to nearby Rapatunturi to describe the Milky Way. Visually, it stood out rather dimly, and didn't seem to properly stick to the cell either. The wind tried its best to make the tease, but the stand as low as possible and still supported by hand did its job. In the background you can see the Gerby water area and the lights of Vaskiluoto.

#bongaalinnunrata The forecast promised northern lights, so we decided to try to get a picture of the Milky Way at the same time. When we came to Kuhmalahti beach, the sky started to cloud and the fog clouded the northern sky. We still had time to get a couple of pictures, and a bright satellite hit one. would have been Iridium. Figure 1 was taken at 20.06.
