I taught the puppy to the boat and at the same time watched the 22 ° ring.

Petri Kuossari, Riihimäen tähtit. yhdistys

Had a couple of times in the middle of the run to stop to shoot a 22 ° ring, one hand shooting, the other had a dog on a leash.

While waiting for the results of the Eurovision Song Contest, it was time to visit the moon to admire and photograph it.

Pollen corona

13.5.2021 at 20.26 - 21.18 - Tervakoski (IV)
Petri Kuossari, Riihimäen tähtit. yhdistys

The second picture is where it all started at 20.26 from the pollen ring, from now on the phenomenon intensified towards sunset. The third image shows a blue reflection ray high in the sky and at this point a fine red reflection on the surface of the lake, finally at 21.18 a magnificent red perimeter. The pictures are in no way processed, direct from the Samsung 10 note phone. Would Russian forest fires have an impact. The wife couldn’t believe it when I showed a picture on the phone until she looked herself out and started taking pictures as well. For more than twenty years on the lake shore ...

M14

12.5.2021 at 01.40 - 02.00 - Tervakoski (II)
Petri Kuossari, Riihimäen tähtit. yhdistys

You can still observe objects in the deep sky, well at least this one I grabbed from the constellation of the snake carrier of the M 14 spherical constellation. I tested a little different settings.

Nova V1405 Cas

12.5.2021 at 01.00 - 01.05 - Tervakoski (III)
Petri Kuossari, Riihimäen tähtit. yhdistys

Nova Cassiopeia 2021 (V1405 Cas) I observed this earlier on March 22, 2021 and the nova was already bright then, in between this object was already dimmed, but now the object was brightened again to 5.4 magnitude, in good conditions you can already see it with the naked eye. For comparison, I made a gif image, with the object in the middle of the image.

M20

9.5.2021 at 02.35 - 02.45 - Tervakoski (I)
Petri Kuossari, Riihimäen tähtit. yhdistys

Pretty awkward description of the target M20 Trifid fog between southeast and south, on a really low horizon. Not a good picture of the subject, but let's put it now when not too much of this was found in Finland. 10 minute exposure.

M17

9.5.2021 at 02.05 - 02.13 - Tervakoski (II)
Petri Kuossari, Riihimäen tähtit. yhdistys

M17 Omega fog between southeast and south, 8 minute exposure

One halo form

4.5.2021 at 11.00 - 11.10 - Hyvinkää (I)
Petri Kuossari, Riihimäen tähtit. yhdistys

Not as great as yesterday, but now I have time to shoot.

M27

30.4.2021 at 01.10 - 01.20 - Tervakoski (III)
Petri Kuossari, Riihimäen tähtit. yhdistys

Whatever else he would do on May Day, other than observing the sky, the air still allowed it. Here’s one item of the M27 lift weight mist that, with a short exposure, just ten minutes, is already quite colorful.

Binocular comet ATLAS

30.4.2021 at 00.20 - 00.55 - Janakkala, Tervakoski (III)
Petri Kuossari, Riihimäen tähtit. yhdistys

After midnight, it was dark enough before the moon rose to observe comet C / 2020 R4 from Atlas. I did two-minute exposures, for a total of 34 minutes, from which I composed this gif video. The comet keeps up a good pace

M94

19.4.2021 at 23.30 - 23.40 - Tervakoski (III)
Petri Kuossari, Riihimäen tähtit. yhdistys

In 10 minutes I got the two tires of the M94 to stand out well. The inner ring generates strongly new stars.

NGC 4490

19.4.2021 at 23.00 - 23.10 - Tervakoski (III)
Petri Kuossari, Riihimäen tähtit. yhdistys

The NGC 4490 shift affects its smaller partner, NGC 4485

M16

17.4.2021 at 03.30 - 04.00 - Tervakoski (III)
Petri Kuossari, Riihimäen tähtit. yhdistys

The M16 eagle mist was quite challenging to observe, on a low horizon where light pollution and dark times end at four. With half an hour of exposure, I’m relatively happy.

Whenever I look at this item, I wonder where the usb sign was invented.

Exoplanet TOI 2251.01

15.4.2021 at 23.47 - 04.04 - Tervakoski (I)
Petri Kuossari, Riihimäen tähtit. yhdistys

This particular observation intentionally observes only the second half of the transit and captures the planet’s “exit” from the star. This is a test of how we perform by measuring exit time for long-term transit costs that we cannot fully monitor with a single eVscoop. Note also that the target star is very dim.

Exoplanet TOI 1811.01

14.4.2021 at 23.44 - 03.21 - Tervakoski (I)
Petri Kuossari, Riihimäen tähtit. yhdistys

TOI 1811.01, part 2! On April 14, twelve eVscoops headed for a hot Jupiter found by TESS around a small star 418 light-years away. We received three positive observations (including myself) and two partial observations. Exact combined transport times to a few minutes were measured from the combined light curves and the corresponding model (details below). Depths and durations are also in line with expected values. So we got this item confirmed. March 19 - Common light curve measurements Average delivery time than expected (minutes): 3.45 +/- 1.82 Duration (minutes): 128.29 +/- 10.95 (119.61 mi...

Telescopic comet ATLAS

11.4.2021 at 01.50 - 02.20 - Janakkala, Tervakoski
Petri Kuossari, Riihimäen tähtit. yhdistys

I got my other observations done and was still thinking about trying Comet 2020 R4 Atlas, the eVscoop battery reported low when I moved the tube to a better position in terms of visibility, the subject was challengingly low on the horizon, only 7 ° high and vibrating accordingly, I was surprised when the subject was drawn on my screen . I exposed for another half hour, and I got more out of the comet’s green glow. Cometan C / 2020 R4 (ATLAS) Observed Magnitude (COBS) 9.5 Estimated Magnitude (JPL) 12.77

Petri Kuossari, Riihimäen tähtit. yhdistys

I strayed from the theme of the evening for a moment by targeting the M5, but this is according to the theme (animal theme) in the constellation of the snake.
