The northern lights were left behind the clouds this time, but their green light illuminated so much that they are clearly visible in a keogram composed of images from the Nyrölä Observatory's automatic AllSky camera (time 00-00 UT as a horizontal axis, south-north as a vertical axis). In the second picture, all the pictures taken during the day. http://nyrola.jklsirius.fi/ccd/capture/allsky/

The northern lights gleamed so hard in red that, despite the clouds, we had to go to Häikänniemi to check the situation. And it was really worth leaving; for the first time in my life I saw red northern lights with the naked eye! At its best, a crown began to form on the head and almost the entire northern sky shone green. The clouds rolled on again before the change of day, but luckily there were some pictures taken before that.

Around 21.30-22 the sky was still partly cloudy here. Dim northern lights were visible to the naked eye from the north to the law of heaven. Here are a couple of pictures provided by the law.
