I was in the yard of Vihantasalmi cafe under bright street lights chatting with a guy when I noticed a bright greenish turquoise fire behind his shoulder flying from right to left almost horizontally on a slightly sloping track. separated from each other, I saw a flight path of about 40 degrees. Kerkes snorted to a friend "disappear", pointing his hand at the target, run about 10 steps to a better place and still follow the disappearance of the ball. Despite the bright street lights, I recognized a bright star visible above and below Otava that I thought was Vega, and based on that, I judged t...

The ignition height from which my observation began was about 30 degrees, the extinction height about 16 degrees. Yellowish. The picture below is an observation picture taken after about 5 minutes of the event, in the picture I have outlined the flight path in memory, can be thrown..came so damn without warning .. ...

A fireball at night, as bright as a cresent moon

12.5.2016 at 00.04 - Mäntyharju (IV)
Markku Siljama, Ursa (Etelä-Suomi)

An insane fireball. I was on the balcony, opening to the south when a bright blue-green fireball appeared high in the southwest that quickly swung north. . Total observation time closer to 5 seconds plus sound observation after a couple of minutes. Length of visible section n 30 degrees. A few minutes after the disappearance, there was a faint faint sound from the north, a puma. Shockingly gorgeous, if that didn’t drop the meteorite then nothing. Attached is an observational image, passing roughly over the Denebola star of the Lion.

A fireball at night, brigter than the venus

10.12.2016 at 23.33 - Mäntyharju (III)
Markku Siljama, Ursa (Etelä-Suomi)

To the southwest around Venus a bright yellowish fireball ran about 30 degrees horizontally parallel to the horizon towards the northwest, appeared on the lower left side of the bright moon. No sound, traffic noise in the background. At first a faint line of light was visible for a couple of degrees, went out until it reappeared. The brightness remained almost constant, no significant crackling, ie a variation in brightness. Disappeared behind the edge of the balcony. Weather: perfectly clear, bright moonlight in the south. Edit: added a quick-grabbed observation image from the hand.
