Partial solar eclipse

As the eclipse progressed, the shadows sharpened, the environment became blurred and the icy northern wind in Yllästunturi's Varkaankuru seemed to rise. Sunglasses were not needed at the peak times with the whitish hangers of the fells. A blackout series was filmed every 3min from 11:54 to 12:57.

Total lunar eclipse

The summer night in Northern Ostrobothnia is still very bright and finding a completely darkened moon was difficult at first. With my naked eyes I suddenly snapped from the shallow of the moon over the fields at 11:50 p.m. The attached cell phone picture was taken at 12:16 a.m., when the left edge of the moon had just begun to brighten. This lunar eclipse "diamond ring" phenomenon was a great sight to the naked eye.

Illuminating night clouds moved in the morning northeastern sky of Northern Ostrobothnia on 28 July 2017. An animation of 100 images shot from 1:50 to 2:06 in the morning, at dawn, with still images taken every 10 seconds.

The pressure wave of the volcanic eruption in Tonga is shown in the graph of the pressure gauge of the Artjärvi Viestikallio (60.73N, 26.21E) weather station. The first pressure wave reached Viestikallio weather station on January 15, 2022, maximizing at about 20:13 EET / 18:13 UTC, and the second inverse-looking pressure wave on January 16, 2022 at about 04:55 EET / 02:55 UTC. #TongaVolcano . In the comet 29P / Schwassmann-Wachmann 1 there is a superburst going mag17 => mag11. It looks a bit like the recent comet 17P / Holmes eruption but in mini size due to the 29P / SW 1 distance. The discharge contains at least CO gas which appears bluish. The figure below also shows one jet 45 "in length PA 270 °. The actual Coma is 60" in diameter and surrounded by a faint teal gas coma 150 "in diameter. Photometrically measured, the brightness of the comet's core is m2 12.85R σ: 0.08896 Aperture radius 6". The comet 67P / Churyumov-Gerasimenko shows both the normal tail and the interesting dust trail in front of the comet in the negative images below. On January 24, 2022 at 21:00 Finnish time, JWST parked the L2 points slowly. The motion of the JWST is shown in the animation below (24x60s = 24 minutes) and in the center of the stacked image (15x60s). During the 15-minute exposures, the JWST moved for 20 arcseconds. Even a few clouds and snowflakes went over the field of view during the exposures, dimming the image. It is already dim, the brightness of the JWST measured from the image is mag 17.34.
