Landscape image of a planet

9.2.2022 at 07.56 - Mänttä-Vilppula (III)
Jukka Laakso

Venus, glancing at the crevice of the trees, insisted on filming from a more convenient location, the lake shore. Ice fog also rose to create an atmosphere.

Meteor image

Jukka Laakso

When I stacked 60mm optics test images of the Driver, one of the 30s images had been hit by a colorful meteor bar in the 290 degree direction. Had come almost vertically down. The green old section spread excitingly to the right.

Binocular comet Leonard

5.12.2021 at 05.23 - 06.45 - Mänttä-Vilppula (III)
Jukka Laakso

Sunday morning comet in a frosty frost with 135mm optics an hour and a half stack. The length of the tail seems to be three degrees here. Transparency seemed poor, and the orbit was not properly separated. 12mm wide angle straight up for an experiment.

Binocular comet Leonard

21.11.2021 at 18.43 - Mänttä-Vilppula (II)
Jukka Laakso

Expectations were not very high when I tried to describe this brightest comet of the early evening with 135mm optics. Light-polluted direction and only about 8 degrees in height is an additional word in addition to moonlight. Still, a quarter of an hour of combined exposure brought this to light.

Telescopic comet Churyumov-Gerasimenko

11.11.2021 at 04.04 - 04.56 - Mänttä-Vilppula (III)
Jukka Laakso

At the end of the DS shots, I still had time to illuminate this comet in the Twins with a SW80ED lens tube. Even a few small galaxies hit, the brightest on the left being the IC 480. In another picture, the structure is highlighted. No observation of dust dust. EDIT: The color world was left to bother and the reason turned out to be the wrong debauchery messing with yellow and blue. I stacked again and managed to blur a composite image of the comet and stars at the same time.

Telescopic comet Schwassmann-Wachmann

11.11.2021 at 03.01 - 03.39 - Mänttä-Vilppula
Jukka Laakso

At the end of the multi-subject shooting night, the recording time for this comet was about 40 minutes. The bright bluish star is HD 30453.

Transparency has been poor for a number of reasons when describing the bull's open constellation Hyades in the past. Clearly better weather now. As the images were stacked, additional stars emerged, revealing themselves as the small planet Ceres, moving between two exposures. A couple of dark fogs also emerged. The most prominent of these is LDN 1551. On the left is the constellation NGC 1647.

NGC 281

9.11.2021 at 00.10 - Mänttä-Vilppula (III)
Jukka Laakso

Pacman fog was one of the targets after a long period of clouds finally breaking in the little frost. The Optolong L-enhance filter was used for the first time to push out more fog.

Rocket-related clouds

28.9.2021 at 00.16 - Mänttä-Vilppula (V)
Jukka Laakso

When photographing the swan mists, there was a hurry to get the first pictures of this phenomenon. There was no time to tune the tripod, so I managed to get a few pictures of the arm before it disappeared behind the trees.

NGC 7000

5.9.2021 at 00.22 - Mänttä-Vilppula (IV)
Jukka Laakso

To this I was able to add more than an hour of exposure to Fuji 135mm optics. The second hour was accumulated from rather mixed shots over a period of three years. The part was also skewed, making a stripe at the bottom. Siril still did pretty well stacking them into the ranks after a few adjustments.

NGC 7293

13.8.2021 at 01.10 - 02.28 - Mänttä-Vilppula (IV)
Jukka Laakso

Helix fog, that eye that looks frustratingly low at these latitudes, stays below 7 degrees even at its highest. Yet it has been tried over the years with varying results. As a rule, there was something fussy in front or the view was limited. Now, for more than an hour, it hit a cloudless weather. To do this, however, had to land in an accessible place.

Now the shooting time hit the darkest moment of the night and the fog came out pretty well with the small Scopos 66 lens tube. Those unusually bright night clouds began to roll out at that time, also requiring shooting time.

Jukka Laakso

For a long time, I tried a summer night DS shot with a Scopos lens tube. The start of shooting was delayed due to many problems and the darkest moment was already behind before exposures were achieved. They accumulated in a total of about 9 minutes in little chunks.

Image of an exceptional thunder cloud

15.5.2021 at 21.15 - Mänttä-Vilppula (IV)
Jukka Laakso

The tail of a thundercloud circling from west to north.

Pollen corona

Jukka Laakso

A little late I woke up to describe the birch pollen ring.

Telescopic comet ATLAS

2.5.2021 at 01.29 - 02.34 - Mänttä-Vilppula (III)
Jukka Laakso

A composite image of a comet and stars and another maximum stacking image with star tracking. There were 15 satellite wires found there at an angle of about 6 degrees in 63 minutes.

Melotte 111

20.4.2021 at 00.01 - Mänttä-Vilppula (III)
Jukka Laakso

While waiting for the R4 Atlas comet to appear behind obstacles, I spent time photographing the well-crafted Coma constellation. Despite the small focal length, even a few galaxies stand out.

Nova V1405 Cas

16.4.2021 at 02.30 - 02.50 - Mänttä-Vilppula (III)
Jukka Laakso

When the M52 area finally appeared behind the trees in the wee hours, shooting time was arranged for the novel among other subjects. The second image shows a green channel below the M52. The magnitude 7.8 of a reference star in almost the same spectral class is visually the same as that of Nova.

Starry sky image

15.4.2021 at 23.56 - Mänttä-Vilppula (III)
Jukka Laakso

Sometimes it's nice to take exposures from the constellations. Otava happened to be in Holli directly above this time of year. Less than a quarter of an hour of common light with a zoom setting of approx. 19mm.

Several halo forms

9.3.2021 at 14.12 - Mänttä-Vilppula (II)
Jukka Laakso

As the cloud curtain thinned, a weaker zyk and an even weaker 22 ° ring appeared.
