M45 - Screeners or Pleiades. This is the first time I have started using the tracking stand a few years ago and since then it has had to be re-photographed regularly as skills and hardware improve.

Heart fog center (Merlotte 15) imaged with Ha and OIII narrowband filters. A total of about 19 hours of exposure. There are so many stars in the area that in a broadband image, the details of the fog are easily obscured behind the stellar abundance, so filters that emphasize the fog are in place here. From Finland, the subject is always in the sky, so it's easy to shoot long exposures (as long as the weather allows). Exposures collected over four nights between New Year and early February.
