Satellite

Timo Alanko, Vaasan Andromeda

I tested my new DJI Osmo Action camera overnight. A few timelapse boxes had been hit by something brighter. The brightness of the first image is probably a satellite, although I didn't find anything so bright about Heavens abovista. Pretty fast has twinkled. The exposure must have been interrupted in the middle of brightness. In another example, there is a fairly bright pair of satellites heading west in the morning.

Rocket phase of Razbeg-1 launch a couple of days later. The altitude of the rocket phase was about 300 km of the orbital parameters at this stage. The image is 120 s maximum stack. Samsung SCB-2000, Fujinon YV2.2x1.4A-SA2L 1.3-3.1 mm, f / 1.4.

I was watching the Milky Way when suddenly a really bright ‘ball’ bigger than a big star appeared in the middle of the sky, followed by long strings of light, like the tails of a comet, blue tails that were 3-4. The phenomenon lasted for about 6 minutes until it sank to the skyline, after which the vanes were still visible and after a while the green glow came to replace it.

We were admiring and photographing the Milky Way in Pyhäranta, Rohdais, when in the middle of everything we saw behind us our backs a strange, dazzling silver-bluish light phenomenon in the northeast, which brightened in our eyes. The phenomenon was absolutely insanely bright and very strange looking. At this point I cursed the long exposure of the Milky Way and the 30s have never felt as long as now ... The phenomenon ran low on a really hard ride from us to the northeast to the northwest and eventually disappeared beyond the light sea and forest border of Rauma. The first thought was when I ...

We were on the Siikalahti dam road watching the planets, when in the north direction a bright light phenomenon was visible among the clouds. It moved slowly north from Capella, and eventually disappeared beyond the horizon. I hadn’t yet retrieved the camera from the car, so when the light disappeared, I was only able to grab a picture of the rocket cloud that faded away in a few minutes. He has seen everything in the hobby, but never rocket launch. I had to rub my eyes a little and think about what a miracle that is. The cartoon shows the route and an outline of what it looked like. There were...

Photo taken 23.10 I was cycling and noticed a strange tailed object in the sky. A moving bright spot and with it like three tails. It was impressive and I stood wondering for a long time. The Sky Guard confirmed it as a rocket launch. I had never seen one.

As I approached the northern lights, I photographed a light, rather intense circular light in the northern sky. I picked up the camera and started shooting the phenomenon. From the light clouds, I deduced it to be a rocket launch. It quickly left north and I didn’t have time to get a picture other than the clouds of abandonment. I shot 30 15 s exposures and made a timelapse of them.

First, northern lights-like greenish reflections. Then a bright increasing, slightly greenish ball approached and then away. At its largest, the diameter was larger than the super moon.

Something slowly came down in the northern sky, which at first was like a full moon, but increased as it came down. #raketti

Too many good rocket pictures on the forum, poorer here. I was piling up a truck in Sallatunturi so a bright comet-like phenomenon was visible in the side eye. I took a handy video of it with lousy settings. Here's a single square from a cloud gap. After the 20s, that brightened significantly

From the car window I saw a fireball in the northern sky that seemed to be very high in the atmosphere. I got out of the car and took a picture. Although I watched for a long time before I brought up the phone’s camera, the phenomenon was visible for a total of about 1 full minute. Moved prominently, but very slowly compared to a typical star flight or fireball. However, much faster than satellites visible in the sky. The glow left the air like a comet, possibly because it was so high that the sunlight illuminated the van it left in the atmosphere. As the fireball progressed, some kind of thin...

This sight came as a surprise. On the autumn-dark beach, fully focused on taking pictures of the Milky Way, and when the exposure had begun, the light-splitting light phenomenon, which had caused almost slag, could strike the eyes and could not be grasped and processed at first. When the initial shock had come to an end, he realized that there was a light phenomenon to be exposed, so the orbital exposures were allowed to stay momentarily. The tripod was moved by a few meters to a better position against the water, and it was clear that the fast-moving subject could be caught only by reducing t...

I photographed the starry sky on the phone when I noticed a brightening object with the side eye. Very impressive whether there would be a rocket or the like on the Russian side. The subject was really high and visible in about 3 min. Direction Northeast and the destination progressed north. #raketti

There was a rush to dig into the camera backpack in the parking lot of the scene when I saw something brightening in the pitch black sky. I had dreamed that sometimes I would be able to see live the launch of a rocket at this very stage. Didn't have to go far from home. #raketti

Rocket-related clouds

9.9.2021 at 23.06 - 23.08 - Posio (V)

At first, the light that looked like a star had a small tail. The tail quickly lengthened and the “aura” widened. After about a minute, the aura disappeared and the whole phenomenon turned into a large ball of light, about the size of two full moons. The white light spread hazy and the whole phenomenon disappeared into the northern horizon.

I noticed a light phenomenon high above my head while in the backyard at about 11:06 p.m. For example, it moved significantly faster than an airplane, but still much slower than a stellar flight. The light phenomenon was bright, and was followed by "van". As it approached the horizon, it formed a "bubble" or "mushroom" area around it, while losing some of its brightness. However, it did not disintegrate or go out until it sank into the horizon. The light phenomenon disappeared into the invisible northern horizon.
