Bright night shining clouds

23.7.2022 at 00.45 - 01.30 - Muurame (IV)
Arto Oksanen, Jyväskylän Sirius

I glanced outside and the northern sky was full of bright, illuminating night clouds. Bring your camera and shoot. The first trip was short when the camera battery ran out after two pictures. Fortunately, I had full batteries at home and at the same time I moved to a better observation spot. The low tides were disturbing and because of them we had to stop observing at half past two. EDIT: I added a timelapse video from 01:15 to 01:23.

Hyvin heikkoja yöpilviä

20.7.2022 at 01.00 - Jyväskylä, Säynätsalon satama (I)
Arto Oksanen, Jyväskylän Sirius

At first it was pretty better, but the illuminating night clouds faded at the same pace as the sky darkened. The northern sky is still very light even at midnight. The moon and Jupiter were nicely visible in the eastern sky.
