Siitepölykehä

Raija Ollikainen

I’ve never “seen” a pollen, let alone photographed. I noticed a picture of Ursan Kempele's office in Vahti: http://www.taivaanvahti.fi/observations/show/25885. I decided that the ring had to be found in Oulu as well, and after the game in Switzerland I went on a trip of hope. I didn’t have time to study Watch how this stuff is filmed, so I just put the sum of the ISOs and apertures to a minimum and rapped to go when I found a suitable location. The hoops were well visible through the sunglasses, even live. I tried to treat the images to look roughly like the others had (and with the skills...

Jarmo Leskinen, Ursa (Pohjois-Suomi)

Yesterday's green clouds that have been talked about in various media are probably a phenomenon caused by pollen, Kaleva . Even that kind of green fog came to be amazed before the arrival of the thunder front. Today, when the sun is shining again, two and a dim circle around the sun is clearly visible. Apparently perimeters caused by birch pollen.

In Turku, the perimeter of birch seems to be weaker than elsewhere in the country. However, it still appears today.

Veikko Mäkelä, Ursa (Etelä-Suomi)

A pollen ring was also visible today. It was weaker, probably in part because the sky was covered with clouds and it obscured the perimeter a lot. That’s why I only got the perimeter visible for a short time. The double perimeter, visually the second zone, was faintly visible, but it was still highlighted in the camera images. 2xcircle colors: VaKOP-ViSVKP brightness: 4-2 birth: birch pollen

Around the Moon, which was seen in the low southern horizon, a perimeter was visually visible, and in the photographs, a double perimeter was added and believed by the contrast. Weather: +8 ast, calm, clear.

When the sun got some fine pollen around it during the day, there was still a little dust for the moon. However, the perimeter of the moon seemed to be a mixture of ordinary water vapor and pollen. The third image is color splitting in Lightroom.

There were handsome pollen circles during the day so I was expecting even more handsome circles from sunset. Well, it was still nice to sit on the shore of Lake Näsijärvi in the summer atmosphere.

Pollen ring in the evening. Really hard to describe if you want to avoid blasting in any way. The shape of the perimeter steeps unreal even in slightly overexposed images.

A spectacular triple circle of birch in the sky of Ulvila. Pictures taken at 21:15, at this point the third zone was no longer visible. Surprisingly well, the images were captured with an Olympus pocket camera too!

A spectacular pollen circle was also visible in Imatra until the evening. A triple ring with a camera, visually at least a double ring. The brightness ratios are as in the Lappeenranta observation . I continued with my cell phone camera shooting. In order not to go for advertising, the sun cover is Tomi XX-Market's neon sign.

Another observation of pollen had to be put on the same day. Now it's starting to be pretty handsome. In the second picture, the colors stretched a little more fairly.
