I couldn't wait to try it, when the sky opened up so beautifully and the comet was easy to find near Capella :)

Last lights from this bucket. I tried with a 200 mm Skyliner with high sensitivities and short exposures. This is how it turned out. Finding the comet with a finder tube was definitely a pain in the ass.

A quick visit on the way back from work to Gerby beach in the hope of pearls. There was a storm, but there was still a surface halo.

We went to visit the graves in Kurika. On the way back, Viinatie even got a job. A single pastel red water ice cloud was hidden almost directly overhead behind the low clouds. Car to the side of the road and waiting for the clouds to give even a little mercy. It was awkward. After reaching Jurva, it looked like there was possibly an acid cloud in the direction of Teuvan-Karijoki. It's a shame that the helicopters are limited to 120 meters. I would have liked to lift Mavicci above that cloud to take a peek at the views :(

Now the pearlers were able to surprise badly. The coldness of the upper atmosphere really shouldn't be enough. Perhaps the prettiest pearls I've seen, though. And on a shopping trip, only take the helicopter with you. A wonderful splendor of pastel colors that the helicopter's camera could not capture. Especially the blue tones are exhausting in the pictures. It would definitely have been the coolest place :(

I took the copter into the air with a properly charged battery, refreshed from yesterday. In the direction of Sweden, a bright streak was visible two hours after sunset. Somehow it would be tempting to interpret that as an acid pearl. Nothing like yesterday's party, but maybe something after all. Clearly further than yesterday. It's hard to define the location of yesterday's as well. They were probably high up somewhere over Sweden even then.

It looks nice in the pictures at the moment. In the cropped photos, movement for about half an hour. I don't think it's really a target for binoculars or telescopes. I tried both and even with the 1200 ml Skyliner 200 I didn't catch fire. It's really dim. Mostly, therefore, a nice shooting location.

We had to come through the clouds today as well. I couldn't get the tails out at the wedding. In the upper right, there is apparently a galaxy that looks like a line. Stellarium didn't give it a name.

After weeks of cloudy weather, they promised clear skies, yay! It was, but then a thick fog started to bother me, when there was nothing else I could do. I was a bit surprised myself when I managed to get through it with the second attempt to hit the 200 mm comet. I described the series for stacking, but I can hardly stack them. How nicely that would have really stood out against the black sky. Now I had to stop, when I didn't even want to separate Otavaaka in the sky anymore. In one image, the comet was greeted by a spinning satellite. I'll put it as the main image. As a bonus, a flas...

Nicely reddened again during the morning coffee hour. The afternoon seems to be quieter. Freezes at altitudes of 80 degrees.

Gentle brown rays on Rapatunturi after sunset. I spiced it up a bit with Snapseed.

The sun had been setting for a long time on the almost cloudless horizon, so I took the camera to Rapatuntur. There was no major weaving, but I got green segments in a few pictures. Unfortunately, the cold in the upper atmosphere wasn't enough for pearls. As a bonus picture, the new filming platform kindly built by the city :)

First testing with the midwinter comet. Hit the picture right away on the first try. It's dim, but it can be photographed with camera optics alone. The last two pictures are 200 mm originals. In the last size comparison object, Hercules' M13.

We had to take advantage of the clear sky. However, the Christmas repos remained very modest. At 7:30 p.m. there was the first activity session and then at 01 at night there was another, even more modest one. OsmoAction took care of documenting the night by itself with a roof brush.

I thought I already got OsmoAction's night timelapse fireball. However, that would seem to be the satellite of the Cosmos series. The brightness is already approaching the class of Iridium.

I like Marko from Kurika. We ourselves returned from a visit to the hatchery and followed the braiding in the direction of the sunset a little higher up. I took a couple of pictures at the Laihia cemetery. The redness wasn't that intense in my own photos.

I have been waiting for pearls in Vaasa's Christmas sky. It hasn't come yet, but when I carried the moon to the garage to melt, I noticed a brightening in the direction of the sun. With the helicopter, a brisk pillar was revealed from there and I believe 22 ys at its upper end. On the way to Laihia, I still photographed it with my phone from ground level.

In 25 kilometers it is 82 degrees below zero above Vaasa. The actual nacreous clouds did not appear yet, but the nacreous brown was quite pretty. I took the Mavic to 11 degrees below zero to document the situation. Edit. I also added a phone picture from ground level.
