In the middle of Christmas preparations, a little early evening visit to the beach, when the sky is cloudless for a long time. The aurora borealis values were also on point during the day, but they died down after dark. Yes, that arch there on the horizon poked and sometimes even a little bit of life. Another northern lights day at Utsjoki. This time, the gauges even promised a reasonable chance of a fire. At first, the clouds seemed to come and spoil the job, but we got really nice lights in half the sky. Of course, the best warps came after 01:00, when I had already taken the camera inside. Then the fires escaped from the firmament to the southern sky and arranged a proper dance. I'm happy to just look at these from the window.
