The fluffy clouds rippled by the east winds nicely framed the less than half of the Moon. At the same time I tested the Sigma with a 150-600 mm 1.4x teleconverter @ 600 mm. It feels good to play. The image is a single frame, i.e. due to the gallop of clouds, I did not do the stacking from the image sequence.

After a long "dry" period, I was forced to get to shoot, even though the Moon made the conditions moderately challenging. So I stayed at the traditional sites to recall all the things I learned through trial and error. Well, always include a few blobs to fit. When shooting the M42, I tried a Hoyan Red Intensifier filter for Tamron 70-300 mm I bought from the Yankees. Focus was a bit wrong. In the moonlit sky, the difference to images without a filter in the past was by no means shocking. The experiment will continue as long as you can fire into the dark sky. Canon 7D MKii camera.

In the morning, the first image through the twig with a rake (300 mm) and a moment later a detail crisp from the video of the ccd camera.

The first and probably last "close-up" of Saturn this season on a guy's tube and as a result of a collaboration. The target only hung at just over 7 degrees and was really turbulent. It would have been worthwhile to refine at another point at first, but it is too late to think about it now. After quite a whine, the following result.

I’ve tried to get a decent picture of Jupiter with my lightweight series of hobbies (SW80ED and Skymax 127), but so far I haven’t been very happy myself since. The association’s ASI120MC-s brought improvement, but not enough. The cause became clear a couple of days ago. My laptop couldn’t take the frames fast enough and that’s why the packaging remained of poor quality. The thing got better when I decided to try my wife’s new laptop. There will now be 10x more frames in the same amount of time. Thus, even with the old Maksutov, you can get a good print with 2x barlov.

Jupiter, Europa and Io in gusts of wind, but seeing just moderate at times. The tube of the association is on an azimuthal pedestal, but the planetary image seems to do just fine.

Finally came a bright morning moment for filming and observing Catalina. There must be some "flap" on the tracking stand, as some of the images got trashed after streaking the stars. Stacking for just over 15 minutes didn’t bring out the tails strangely yet.

At times, this use starts to work for the forces, but it’s still worth it. Since Saturday, I’ve been poking at the cottage on a bright morning to take a picture of Orion with a CCD camera, and this morning then I finally snorted. Clear skies and frost. The 80ED tube would have required the installation of a reducer, but as the eastern sky began to lighten threateningly, I decided to bow to a tighter trim without Running Mania.

I have browsed the sky to get suitable subjects from the deep sky for our association’s new ASI120MC-S camera. The SW 80ED tube is a great game, but the camera isn't really suited to the dimmest subjects, and they still need to be fired at the burning level of the tube. The M27 seemed like a suitable target, with enough surface brightness and no need for cropping. The light came from a modest half hour with 1 minute exposures and twenty darks. The tops of the neighbor’s trees prevented a longer session.

Another of the cottage weekend shots. What wins in light pollution is lost in the narrowness of the imaging sectors. However, the lift weight mist was suitably visible between the trees. Not just wanting to get red to stick to the cell because Canon’s rationale is unmodified. The goal is to get a CCd camera for this hustle and bustle.

The group of wild geese is quite challenging to photograph due to the low altitude of the object. There was quite a bit of a fight to be had with focusing and tracking, and the focus didn't really seem to be quite right. The double star in the center doesn’t stand out either, because I wanted the dark parts of the Milky Way to even look like a whit.

Awesome filming must now be fully utilized. Yes it is but it must be believed that the more squares, the better the image. Last night went as the camera shook at night until the battery ran out. Because the focus was not quite right, the subject had time to crawl somewhat in the image area. So I had to rough out the last 70 pictures. Compared to my own skill level, I am happy with this.

A little clouds threatened the planet’s show tonight, but eventually made sense to stay away. Seeing wasn’t crystal clear, though moderate though. The iOptron was of no help, as at least a 300mm tele seemed to be too much for it in terms of weight. Anyway, a wonderful phenomenon.

This is what the positions of the planets looked like the day before the h-moment.

One would not believe that it will rain in Crete at this time of year. The clouds cracked so much in the evening that I was able to crack some sort of image of the approach of Venus and Jupiter. I’m trying to be more successful on Tuesday night, when the right h-moment is. Then iOptron's SkyTracker will help.

In a light-polluting environment, it is wisest to stick to photographing and observing the brightest objects. Hopefully the weather would continue. So the M45 or Screeners this time.

When a fairly clear sky and a light-free environment happened, it was necessary to photograph even a more traditional subject.

I photographed the surroundings of Alnitak for the first time. Flame fog and Horsehead fog are also visible. Next time, add more exposures and this will turn into a joy, won't it?

On Saturday night, I probably chatted with many other starry enthusiasts about possible repos. When I had to, I piled the tracking foot and SW 80ED tube for the second time this fall. I put the camera tube "on my back" and began to reminisce about the intricacies of the Magic Lantern. Pretty nice summer clears the memory (i.e. the main booth). After the polar orientation and alignment missteps, I decided to try the description of Lifting Weight Fog. Moonlight and humidity increased at a brisk pace at midnight. Nooh, yes, this is slowly starting to work again, hopefully. There is room for impro...
