I kept filming the Milky Way for a few hours until the northern lights started to be so bright that I had to turn the cameras towards them. I took pictures with two cameras at the same time; The first image was taken with a fisheye eye and the second with a lens aimed at the left edge of the northern lights belt.

There was a pause in the description of the Milky Way as the northern lights began to warp in the sky. I turned the cameras north and started a series of shots, from which I made a GIF animation. Pictures taken on October 18, 2014 at 00.35-00.56. The second Northern Lights gif animation was taken at the same time with another camera on the left side of the Northern Lights belt.

Christmas northern lights. The blue LED lights around the logs of the sauna cottage are reflected in the trees and give a cold atmosphere to the picture. It was about -20C outside

For a long time I got almost complete darkness in the Kainuu desert with the camera. The Milky Way looked absolutely stunning. A few starbursts also appeared, but did not hurt the pictures.

In near complete darkness, I photographed the Milky Way, but at the same time decided to test the barn door tracking at a 70mm focal length into the Andromeda galaxy. It's okay!

I decided to try shooting the Milky Way with a bright lens in almost complete darkness. I haven’t gotten structures like this before. Here is a larger version: http://www.astrobin.com/full/128715/0/

I decided to try ladonovi tracking on a non-Andromeda galaxy and by chance Messier 35 was in the right place. Focus is not the best. There is always something to improve. Less frequently described object.

I photographed the Milky Way with a fisheye eye. In one box came a bigger ball of light, which in another picture. It is much brighter than the line in one box, which is certainly caused by the satellite.

Early autumn is quite a nice time to observe and shoot, when it's nice and warm even at night. I photographed Weight Lifting for three nights (17th, 21st and 24th August). This is my first picture of the M27.

There has been little night's sleep for more than a week. The third object of early autumn that I have photographed from my own yard. To my dismay, the M13 goes behind a big birch pretty soon after midnight at my location.
