The Milky Way photographed north of Rovaniemi. Captured on a moonless night, with the dim northern lights glowing in the northern sky, on a frosty day of a few degrees below zero. By stacking the pictures, it was really nice to bring out the details of the Milky Way. The pictures are towards the zenith so that I could get the Milky Way and Andromeda in the pictures (Figure 1) and classically west towards the central parts of the Milky Way. (Figure 2) I set the first picture so that I get Andromeda and the Milky Way in the picture. During the processing phase, a star nebula popped out of the im...

Northern Grand Season "Grande Finale" On the night between Friday and Saturday, the Northern Lights blazed really bright despite the light background sky. Northern lights occurred immediately after sunset if there is confidence in the magnetometer data. In the sky, on the other hand, at about 11 pm, dim arches appeared through the zenith. At midnight, an arc appeared in the northern sky that flashed into flames for a few minutes after which disappeared completely (Picture 1) At 00:30 An arc appeared in the southern sky that suddenly flashed into a really bright and sharp northern lights of the...

Vanha havainto arkistosta, Mahdollinen SAR ensimmäisessä kuvassa. Kyseisenä yönä revontulien varsinainen syttyminen odotutti pitkään hehkuen pohjoistaivaalla useita tunteja. Lopullinen purkaantuminen tapahtui vasta kolmen aikoihin aamuyöllä. Ilmahehku oli voimakasta.

Empa has never seen such a spectacular avalanche cloud. I was at home and the attention was drawn to the dark clouds approaching on the horizon, I left the plane to see if it was a thundering cloud that it was not yet then. A moment later I woke up to a thunderstorm and noticed that a avalanche cloud had formed in the sky, so I left quickly at the edge of the field along Vaalantie. So I started an electric orange Fiat Punton and drove through the village while admiring the approaching avalanche cloud. Eventually I arrived and parked the car at the bus stop and took the camera and set out to lo...

I instinctively went to glance at the sky before going to bed and from the outskirts of the village this pillar of artificial light could be seen rising. Is it the first of the season?

The clock was approaching eleven on the eve of my birthday, I was already going to bed little by little but I was still off to pick up my phone downstairs and instinctively glanced at the sky. I ran very fast to get the camera, as I rushed to the balcony I whispered to my little sister that I was slamming into the ceiling! It was then slammed into it taking pictures of a night cloud play visible in the sky, I took general images on a Canon seismade and a sigma wide angle, which was fortunately borrowed from school for a video project, and on my own tamron close-ups The play evolved very quickl...

When I came to the store last night, I drew my attention to two artificial light pillars and thought to take pictures of them. And these are the first artificial light pillars where I get pictures or have seen with my own eyes

What is this pollen-like halo in the mist under the Sun that appears in the first picture? And I'm sure there is no lens reflection because I saw the same myself.

During the thunderstorm, it rained quite briskly and it was left in the yard so that the dog cage flooded. The first 3 pictures were taken during the rain when I tried what kind of pictures you get when "playing" with the shutter speed ps. I am not quite sure about the time of the clock because I do not really trust the camera clock

It was a bit like forgetting these pictures in the depths of that Computer Elikkä was at that cottage in Hailuoto and I thought to take a picture by the sea where I saw this handsome Cloth, which was presumably still accompanied by a Transatlantic Cargo ship about 10km away, according to local fishermen. I remember the island is about 10 -14km away

I woke up to a roar, ran, taking the wires off the walls, looked out, ran to get the camera, and then started pounding. Screenshots from the video, I ended up in the video because the lightning was pretty low so I could even capture something There seems to be a jet stream that doesn't show up here Even in that video where I suspect Kalevantule is https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=1435446003374831&set=vb.1416690798583685&type=2&theater
