Coming from Ilmajoki, on the left side of the Sun, you could see a bright and colorful side sun, captured from the car.

In the evening, upper clouds began to appear in the sky, where at first only the second ring was visible. At some point I noticed that the sky also shows the curve of the zenith environment, so I decided at that point to get a tripod and a fisheye lens from inside. The processed images also revealed a 46° ring. Figure 3 BG processed, Figure 5 USM processed and Figure 6 USM+BG processed.

In the morning, I put the coffee to drip, and in the meantime I would go around photographing the Sun with its numerous specks.

In connection with Friday's solar photography, a crescent moon was also photographed from the daytime sky before the cloud seen in the bonus photo rolled in to cover the shooting location.

After a rainy night and morning, during the morning the sky cleared enough that even Aurinko was able to photograph.

I updated the photos of the observation, because I noticed at the computer that in addition to the double ring and the one above, the photos also show the side sun and the horizon ring. Figure 2 USM processed.

After a couple of more or less cloudy days, the Sun was shining brightly, so I went out for a walk with the "sun camera". There are quite a lot of specks on the surface.

The morning Sun with its numerous specks was quite spectacular to watch and photograph. The atmosphere was also quite calm, so I didn't have to reject very many pictures due to the heat wave. At the same time, I also dabbled a little in dyeing wood (picture 2).

Birch flowering continues strongly, so the pollen ring is still moderately visible. I should probably get a flag pole to get a sun visor suitable for this purpose... ;-)

In the afternoon, the clouds started to break for a while, so I decided to take a little walk in the garden, pottering around. At some point, both lower and upper clouds started pushing in front of the Sun again, and in that context the moderately bright 22°r, 22°ysk and 22°ask appeared. I started shooting again with a mobile phone and the Open Camera program (for RAW images), and then later I got a tripod and a fisheye lens to complete the images (mainly now in case of possible other halo forms). The first couple of pictures are taken with a mobile phone (main camera and wide-angle camera), t...

I was cleaning the pine trees in the backyard from dry branches, when I noticed that the upper clouds of an approaching weather front had crept into the sky unnoticed, creating a versatile halo play around the Sun. The brightest were 22°r, 22° ysk and sauri, and at some point also zyk. Traces of the 46° ring were also visible, mostly in the BG version of the quad (picture 5). Within a couple of hours, the entire halo show shrank to a bright 22° ring (the last image at the end of the observation). All images converted from cell phone RAW images.

The camera had "left behind" pictures of the Sun from a week ago, so let's upload them now. Quite a lot of small spots visible.

In the middle of yard work, I noticed a birch pollen ring visible around the Sun, so I quickly dug out my cell phone (because of the approaching clouds) and took a few pictures with the Open Camera software (with OC you can get RAW photos) before the Sun disappeared behind the clouds. The images are therefore converted from RAW and cropped "closer". Second image BR processed.
