It was raining and the sun was also starting to shine. It turned out to be a rainbow - it's just a shame when it was such a momentary phenomenon. I managed to grab the left edge. It had a clear arched leg down to the ground.

On vacation from work, I had to check the halo situation. Luckily I did, because the situation had improved considerably. The horizon tire had also come with it. The side suns had brightened. I think you can still see the 46 tire here, although it's dim.

On my way to work in the morning, I first noticed the bright left side sun. I decided to stop to photograph it, and it had other halo shapes. I think it also included 46 tires. It stands out better in the phone pictures than in the paperback pictures. Is there anything else above that 46?

The northern lights started to appear a little before midnight. An aurora borealis appeared in the sky, which slowly activated - although I had to wait patiently for it, but it was worth it. Suddenly, on the left edge, high rays rose, which could even be described as bright. I still couldn't distinguish the colors except on the camera screen. It ended up being quite an interesting play.

A peaceful aurora belt. Mainly high beams were visible, the colors of which could only be seen in photographs.

On the last night of the holiday in Saariselä, the northern lights were visible in a slightly different direction, while on other nights they were low over the village of Saariselä. I barely had time to capture them until too thick a cloud came in front of me.

At the top of Kaunispää, a large halo ring around the Moon could be seen. 22 ring with northern lights.

I took a taxi to the top of Kaunispää to hunt for the northern lights. The forecasts were good and the weather was the best. Slowly, the Northern Lights play began to develop and the frost intensified. It was a great show. The scenery was absolutely amazing, and there were no visual obstacles. The only downside was when the red lights on the mast colored the snow red. Well, it just had to be endured. There were also plenty of other Aurora Borealis tourists.

Pretty modest northern lights low above Kaunispää. There was quite a lot of frost, we didn't have to stand there for long.

On the first evening of the holiday in Saariselkä, there were quite bright northern lights. These are above Kaunispää, I was down below. It wasn't the best filming location. Bitter cold and moonlit night.

A long streak was recorded in a picture with an exposure of 4 seconds. I don't know if it was a fireball or a satellite.

I had just managed to set up the camera for shooting the northern lights, and suddenly I noticed such balls of light lighting up one by one in the sky. They glowed red for a while and then turned blue. I wasn't at all aware of what phenomenon it was - and the thought took off. However, I decided to photograph them as much as possible. Later it turned out that there was no danger, but that they were rockets launched from Kiruna. It was a barium cloud experiment. For a long time, the blue glow lingered in the sky, and next to them came violet rays, like aurora borealis. An interesting phenom...

Absolutely insanely beautiful aurora borealis in the whole sky! I think there were also dunes. The glow of barium clouds was visible for a long time in the sky. The pink corona was visible for a long time and the green corona was also visible. The camera recorded wonderful colors - I think I couldn't distinguish anything but green. I felt that could this be real at all.. There were the northern lights looming when I went to sleep.
