27.9.2019 at 22.39 - 01.13 - Lempäälä (III)
Mikko Blomqvist, Tampereen Ursa

After 10 p.m., the green mist in the northern sky began to change so that structures began to separate from it. At 10:30 p.m., a single bluish ray appeared in the western sky detached from the northern northern lights. I continued to describe the northern lights until 1:13. During the evening, a bright green arc of northern lights and also actively changing belts were visible in the north and west directions. There was some fog in the air coming from the direction of the lake. The evening's catch and timelaps can be found in the video here: https://youtu.be/MkwLYEIqOts The description of a...

All-sky aurora

7.10.2015 at 22.56 - Lempäälä (V)
Mikko Blomqvist

At 21:40 the northern lights filled the whole sky and fluctuated very quickly. To the west, fine fluctuating northern lights were visible. A timelapse video show taken from the backyard can be found here: https://youtu.be/EaFKxXHTxIQ I continued shooting until about 1:15 p.m. Here’s another expanded video featuring a great active episode at 11:23 p.m. https://youtu.be/-8Ff8WiVhgo In my pictures, the show still doesn't get its rights when the event was enough in every direction. A nice fast-changing heel also appeared a few times during the evening. Timelapse has a total of 1,400 images.

At half past twelve I went outside to check the northern lights situation and half the sky shone green in the western sky. After midnight, towards midnight, the repos rose trembling high and fluctuated rapidly. The camera also showed a bit of purple, but it was not distinguished by the eye. Quiet aurora band

28.8.2015 at 23.29 - Lempäälä (II)
Mikko Blomqvist

22:30 was a northwest / northern sky handsome and pretty bright northern lights belt. The brightest moments did not come to the camera. I went to the edge of the adjacent field where the hastily described timelapse can be found at the link below. Some rays were visible in addition to the belt. In Timelapse, the repos had already dimmed from the brightest hedge. They dimmed to the gauze side by night. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tpOO4vSDzck&feature=player_embedded

Mikko Blomqvist

I drove from Helsinki back to Lempäälä and at about 7:30 pm I noticed around Iittala against the sky colored by the sunset that the northern lights were clearly visible on the colors of the sunset! Yes, I have never seen northern lights against such a clear sky before. Well, a handsome show then came. A timelapse video of tonight's shootings can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-VrfCzkeuhY&feature=player_detailpage
