These seem to be enough for now. So far, perhaps the most beautiful northern lights from this autumn. It seems to have exploded properly twice.

Juuso Nurmio, Ursa (Länsi-Suomi)
The fires started to appear as soon as the evening got dark, and at half past twelve the clouds already covered the whole sky. A picture from the best moment that didn't last many minutes. Otherwise, a belt has been visible in the northern horizon.

You could almost have lit up the entire sky with the aurora borealis when they reached quite far to the south, but let's reserve that for the proper show. Still, this was great.

Juuso Nurmio, Ursa (Länsi-Suomi)
This time the clouds weren't a problem like the night before, but the northern lights were not at the same level of visibility. At the very beginning, a somewhat rapid arc has gone across the entire sky, but otherwise they stayed pretty much low in the north.

It would certainly have been a great show here in the south as well, but it was sadly behind the clouds.

Based on Ulvila's observation, a little more southerly was also found in the sky camera images.

Running in the new sky camera. The camera was on fire for the second night and the search is still in the settings as well as the final location, but the career still got off to a good start.

Very low from southern Finland, but the rocket launch was still caught on the sky camera. The last image is the maximum stack of images showing the barium cloud. #raketti: IM/IO (Improved Malemute Improved Orion) #BRORkiruna

It was great again, but the fog came and after ten o'clock we haven't seen much. A bit before eleven, however, kajo has been seen even through the fog/clouds. At first I suspected some kind of disturbance, but apparently the activity has increased just at that time, so it must be the northern lights.

It was a handsome set again, especially the red one has been well displayed again.

It's good that this meeting was captured a day earlier, at the minimum distance, because the sky was blocked at the h-moment.

Another wonderful aurora night after the previous one. This time I really went out, but it's just a shame that it was precisely for that break between nine and ten. Maybe next time... After all, the sky camera showed what it missed.

The sky camera's collection of the night's events. I wish I could have wondered live... The reddish tone is confusingly attention-grabbing.

A nice sunset and twilight rays. Maybe there would have been a little pearly brown included at some point.

Based on a few other observations, it was found on the camera, even though there has been some kind of cloud in between.

There was a handsome weave after a long period of rain. The Sun alone would have been enough, but this is fine too.

Pitkän Viirun was left on camera by this fireball. It has been obviously spectacular.

I didn't see a single Perseid, and I apparently went to bed a little too early for this rocket launch, but I still got a nice streak on the sky camera. #raketti: Falcon 9
