Several halo forms

22.3.2015 at 16.55 - 17.15 - Puumala (II)
Marianne Laapio

I saw the side sun while driving a car and stopped to shoot at the intersection in the center of Puumala. However, at a distance of about 500 m, the side sun had time to lighten up a bit. Only at home on the plane did I notice a 22 degree arc :) (I am an amateur) and because of that the arc is not quite perfectly pictured. I continued my journey and about 5 km away from behind the forest I saw a pretty bright 22 degree overhanging arc (apparently) in addition to the 22 degree arc. And again I stopped to take a picture.

Beautiful halo throughout the day. Not all of them were shown in that image, but were visible within about an hour of that time.

In the three countries, the lower clouds receded for about half an hour, revealing the halos of the basic set. Zyk looked quite colorful considering the circumstances. The treatment brings out a delicate 46 degree ring again, just like in the morning. There do not seem to be any column crystals here today.

A weak 22 ° ring was visible in the sky in thickening upper clouds, shortly before the snow began. Slightly added contrast to images to improve visibility. In the afternoon at 15:18, a faint Zyk appeared in the upper clouds. Contrast added to the image. Title changed.

In the past, something could have been seen a little better, but I periodically dragged into the yard only now. The matte 22r just grabbed the pictures. I also tried br handling and negatives, but the paperback jpgs aren't anything wonderful to handle. Järkkäri is on the shopping list ... Edit. Later in the afternoon, Zyk joined the play. There would probably have been sunshine behind the trees, but I couldn't take a look.

After the evening's repositories, a little contemplation. Briefly, above the 22 rings, a reflection appeared in the colors of the rainbow. The phenomenon was short-lived, and I didn't have time to get a picture of it, but it was bad too.

A small halo play appeared in the sky of Kuusamo on the morning of March 22. At that time, a 22-degree ring, side suns and the arc of the zenith environment appeared in the Kuusamo sky. The latter of the images has been slightly treated with a blurred mask to make the arc of the zenith environment more visible.

Here I mean to be late for the Star Days, but when zyk came on as a friend of 22r, it had to be documented. Images have been slightly adjusted to bring out weak shapes.

I was skiing on Riisitunturi when I noticed a circle around the sun. There were clearly noticeable colors in the ring. The phenomenon was visible for about twenty minutes, then streaked clouds spread across the sky, eventually covering the perimeter.

In the morning, a bumpy 22r, which brightened slightly after nine. Visually, none other than the mössö-22r stood out, but after hard handling, a faint zyk and a 46-degree ring can be distinguished from the image.
