Perseids - 13.8.2021 at 00.30 - 13.8.2021 at 02.40 Tampere Observation number 100555

Visibility IV / V

Pekka Rautajoki, Tampereen Ursa

The maximum night of Perseids was, amazingly, clear, so I spent just over two hours in a recliner in our backyard. For the first 25 minutes, no star flight was seen, but after that I recorded 13 asses and three random star flights. A few asses were clearly yellow, and some were quite bright - of course, you can't really see the dim ones near the city. In the composite image, I have drawn the trees and the building bounded by the horizon, and the starry sky is at about one o'clock position. There is an observation time for each stellar flight. The square of Pegasus was very visible at the time of my observation, so let Pegasus here be recorded among the bonga 100 observations. #bongaa100
