Visibility I / V
There were high expectations for the sequel to the great northern lights show of the previous evening. The closing season of the villa season was celebrated in fine late summer weather. I had to spend a lot of time outside admiring the sky. No northern lights were visible to the naked eye.
I put a gopro to shoot jpegs from the sky at sunset until the morning. A few test shots were taken shakily at night. There was nothing in Järkkär's pictures, so I didn't put a series of pictures with it.
When making the video, the faint reef lights stood out from the night images. The color editing and ‘curves’ of the video made even the relatively strong purple tops even more visible. That would have been a good picture with common sense.
Video time approx. 28.8. 23:20 - 29.8. 01:28
The strongest northern lights approx. 29.9. 00:20 - 00:35
