Rocket-related clouds - 27.9.2021 at 22.39 Tuusula Observation number 101506

Visibility Unclassified

My wife and I were admiring the starry sky as a bluish ball of light appeared in front of us in the sky, growing in size and at the same time slowly disappearing (feidi) into invisibility. I happened to have a phone camera already in use, so I got a good grasp of the phenomenon. The phone is a Huawei P30 Pro, so it captures images particularly well in dim conditions, such as the night starry sky. I’ve never seen anything like it, and we were left wondering what exactly we could see. The phenomenon was estimated to last a total of another minute.
