A fireball at night, as bright as the sun - 8.12.2021 at 06.23 Sastamala Observation number 103036

Visibility III / V

Some song dropped from the sky almost vertically with a really bright light behind it. I drove the Vt11 towards Poria and the phenomenon was visible from the west directly in front. Parts of the fireball appeared to have come off / burned in the atmosphere. The light was considerably brighter than in stellar flights and the event seemed to be pretty close. The incident was quickly over.
