The company draws Aristarchus with its plateaus. Seeing was not as good as the top looked, and the terminator was perhaps already too far away. Apparently it is covered with a few meters of volcanic ash, containing ferrous glass. The dark mantle of the plateau is older than the surrounding marela. The Schröter Valley descends 2 km 160 km from the end of Kobra to the sea. The diameter of the Väisälä crater is 8 km.

Happamia laavoja ei paljon ollut Apollo, Luna tai kuumeteoriittinäytteissä, joten sekin aukko olisi täytettävissä ylängöllä.
