Visibility IV / V
We had agreed on the first observation of the year of the association for the Olkkajärvi shed, so we gathered with a small group at 18 to marvel at the Moon and Jupiter. Well, Jupiter just had time to flash behind the trees before the telescope was set up .... Northern lights were predicted to wait until the next night, but I still had a camera on the way. I immediately took pictures in it, and the camera found a calm belt right away. That's how the belt rumbled unchanged at times, sometimes something was visible. At 19, a little more life began to come into repos. His eyes could already see well, and the belt became active. At 8:15 p.m. At that point, the camera's batteries also started to run out when I wasn't preparing for such a long shot ... Toes and fingers also started to protest. At the time of the handover, I was still fluttering the rays in a slightly different direction, and I did not examine these images in more detail until I had read that dunes had been spotted in several places in the evening. And just like in those last three pictures, I was throwing something dull in the "background" of the rays just above the trees. I’m not sure when I’ve never seen a witch before and there are so many dim shapes in there. Are they dunes? However, they will be in that place in more pictures in more than 5 minutes.
The batteries ran out and I drove off. You'll be waving in the sky all the way home ... Yeah. And that's where the actual night will come. You can not always win. : D Well, just a nice start to my own repo shooting year though.
