Visibility III / V
The observation was placed in the "northern lights cloud cloud" category when no more suitable one was found. It’s about last night’s space tracking on radio frequencies. The target is the 50MHz amateur radio beacon OH9SIX (Pirttikoski). The receiver was in Vesanto at the time of the experiment.
When monitored on radio frequencies, "Aurora activity" remained relatively subdued. At the OH9SIX beacon frequency, the propagation of this form was observed:
22: 37-22: 48 UT (clearer)
22: 52-22: 53 UT (clearer)
01: 14-01: 28 UT (weak)
The summary image shows the time from 22:30 to 23:10 UT (OH9SIX lighthouse). When following the entire lighthouse area, the first two are marked with the number "1." For the second frequency (50.468MHz, SK3SIX, Sweden, Östersund), the signal also appeared briefly at 22:51 UT (marked "2"). It’s not certain if it was Aurora’s progression or not. The last time the OH9SIX Aurora progresses will be in "3".
On a few occasions, there was a "glowing fog" in the shallow northern sky in the field of a fireball camera depicting north. The black and white image does not reveal whether they were revoted. There is also light pollution in the center of the village in the same direction, which most often interferes with observations ...

Tätä komenttia kirjoittaessani alkoi 10.2.2022, klo 18:50 paikallista aikaa selkeää RF aurora etenemistä samaisella OH9SIX / 50MHz majakalla. On siellä jotain aktiviteettia ilmassa.
