Visibility II / V
By nine o'clock it was still cloudy and the moon clear. In the north, however, there was a gap in the clouds and the northern lights intensified quite bright despite the moon. Red was visible at the bottom.
I put the camera to shoot a series of pictures. n. 22.40 - 23.35. The northern lights were fading. I cut off the quiet part of the beginning. This time I made a vertical video. 10s exposures. The period was hit by another smaller period of activity. Even after a couple of hours, there seems to have been an even stronger episode, according to the Finnish Meteorological Institute.
It was great to watch these ice by hand in the bright moonlight. The pearl owl also pulped out about a hundred meters from the shore forest.
