Moon surface feature - 14.4.2022 at 23.02 Kauhava Observation number 106179

Visibility III / V

Jari Kankaanpää, Lakeuden Ursa

This massive crease is in the footsteps of the birth of Mare Orientale. In the background is a similar formation per Inghirami crater. The terrain of the area is very complex, picking up a bit like the surface of Ganymedes in the moon of Jupiter. (This can be examined in more detail in the LROC sonar images). In the picture, the south is at the top.

No nyt sait hienossa valaistuksessa komean havainnon hienosta alueesta! Wargentin-kraatterin korkea pohja erottuu myös todella hyvin tässä.

Kiitoksia Paula. Seleniittien saunapata kiehuu yli (Wargentin).
