A single image of the eastern edge of Mare Serenitatis, where the ridges known as the Snake Ridge really stood out. Quite interestingly, this lighting also distinguished the "eyes" peeking from the dark side of the terminator, which are the ramparts of the craters that the Sun's light hits while the bottom is still hidden.
The most obvious peeking eyes are Posidonius N and Sarabhai (Bessel A).
