I was wondering at the rumble, until I realized there would be hail. At first rarely but at large - the auditory perception was "greater" than the visual perception until the deaf accelerated. The highest of the day was +16, so when it rained on the warm ground, it started to melt quickly before the air had time to cool down. There might have been bigger granules, I just didn’t get out fast enough. The first thunder of the year.
