I watched and photographed the cloud formations visible in the north of the sky as I happened to turn in the other direction and noticed a funnel cloud rising “near” the edges of the cloud. It didn't take very long, but I had time to grab a few pretty good pictures. In the first image in particular, the vortex at the bottom of the funnel indicates rotational motion.
