Starlink-satelliitteja - 14.8.2022 at 02.07 - 14.8.2022 at 02.09 Turku Observation number 108453

Visibility IV / V

Mikko Peussa, Ursa (Länsi-Suomi)

A beautiful line of Starlink satellites (21 pcs) moved across the sky. This was a wonderful display as well and the satellites were like a glowing string of pearls moving in the night sky. Unfortunately, the queue was so tight that even in the tested 1-second exposure, they were drawn as one line, even though you could tell them apart with your eyes.

Next time, with a video camera if there is such a tight queue. However, I got them on two different cameras, one of which was on duty for the Perseids on the balcony. I made a short sped-up animation for the beginning of both and there are also two single images.

Yötaivaalla lipuva valopistejono..Starlink sateliittejä. Säännönmukaiset välit, viimeisin näytti silmämääräisesti hieman taaempana. En ole ennen nähnyt vastaavaa. Hämmästyttävä ja hiljentävä näky.
