Starry sky image - 16.8.2022 at 23.42 - 17.8.2022 at 00.07 Kurikka Observation number 108611

Visibility III / V

Marko Myllyniemi, Lakeuden Ursa

I thought of taking some pictures of the darkening starry sky with the expectation that if something interesting would hit the pictures. Well, the only one seems to be the streak drawn by the satellite at the top of the first picture, which was "extra" attached to the pictures. The second picture was taken half an hour later and you can see that the Milky Way is gradually starting to separate.

During the filming, I noticed a few flashes covering the whole sky, which were by no means very bright, but still clearly noticeable. I didn't find any clear reason for them, but in the end I came to the conclusion that they must have come from a thunderstorm that occurred during the evening, which at the time of my filming had reached over Merenkurku to approximately the height of Pietarsaari, i.e. the distance would be approximately 130 km as the crow flies... =:-o

Vielä kymmenen jälkeen Maksamaan suunnalta sain dronella salamaa kuviin. Havis on jonossa. Myöhempään en jaksanut enää valvoa tällä kertaa. Dronekin takkuaa. Uuden hankinta työn alla.
