Visibility IV / V
The aurora borealis managed to surprise again, even though the cell phone was beeping warnings about even KP7 readings. The weather was cloudy at first, but cleared up quickly. When I stepped out, there was a faint aurora crown in the sky, which, however, quickly faded into individual aurora rays. As the forecasts promised continued activity, I moved to a more open place at Hautalahti's beach. However, the aurora borealis retreated into a dull arc in the northern sky and the camera lens also fogged up as the fog began to rise from Päijänte. But after waiting for a good hour, there was another short burst in the form of a wonderful green dancing aurora veil. Fortunately, I had made the camera lens clear again with the car fan. Clouds eventually covered the sky, ending the show. The moon lit up the sky quite a lot and the lights of the center of Muurame were disturbing on the horizon.

Hyvin samanoloiset kuvat ja olosuhteet olivat sielläkin. Täältä ne pilvet lipuivat pohjoista kohden. Onneksi välivaiheet olivat pääosin selkeät. Minulla viimeinen vaihe meni umpipilveen kello 1:30.
Kun aurora-häly tuli, kävin pihalla tarkastamassa tilanteen. Pilvessä on. Kun ehdin sisälle, alkoi puolen tunnin rankkasade. Että näin Vaasassa :(
Nätit reposkuvat!
