Visibility II / V
The values were reasonable and when a friend got a message at midnight that the arch was visible, I decided to go to the beach here in Lappeenranta to have a look. However, now I stayed on this "near shore", so the amount of light pollution (the paper factory was looming behind me like it was the last day) in the pictures was quite a lot. I was able to manually adjust the white balance so that everything didn't glow orange.
A small, but really nice substorm started at 1:25 and it turned into a pulsating and diffuse show in two countries. I followed the northern lights until a little past three. Even in these aurora borealis, blue was visible at the top.
