Visibility IV / V
For almost half an hour, I watched the gales, which told me that a thunderstorm was approaching from the south. Jylinä started to sound even closer. Then, from the light poles and maybe other metal pieces nearby, a nice chirping sound started to be heard. I thought it might be wiser to jump inside the car now. A good decision, because after about 10 seconds, the lightning struck nearby (main photo). How close? Based on the rumbling delay, I guessed that it was less than a kilometer away, but the positioning data showed a landfall about 4 km away. Lightning moved to the north side, and there was a new perspective on the industrial area as well. However, it became boring as a shooting location, so I moved to another beach to shoot. There were a surprising number of city dwellers with cell phone cameras. I hope many managed to get flash photos!
