Visibility IV / V

Ben Kalland, Ursa (Helsinki)

The bridge over the sunspot. Area AR3105. I've seen these bridges before, but haven't managed to photograph them. I'm not sure if it counts as two commas or one, with a bridge going over it. Two large filaments also stand out in the picture. The overexposed spot above the colon is apparently a small blur.

The color doesn't quite match the one seen in the eyepiece, it should be redder, but when edited this way, the bridge and the penumbra around the little one can be seen better.

The first successful image with the new self-assembled tube: Lunt 80 standard + Skywatcher 150 refractor. Seeing has been so weak at my observation location that I haven't managed to measure the full resolution, but this first picture at least proves that the combination works technically. The goal is to reach the maximum resolution allowed by the aperture, but so far seeing has not allowed it.
