Visibility III / V
Photographed from the cockpit of Finnair's Tokyo-Helsinki flight (AY 74) just after crossing the North Pole. In some of the pictures Jupiter is bright, in some the Taurus constellation with the Pleiades constellation and the planet Mars.
After crossing the North Pole, it got dark very quickly (times are UTC times) and almost at the same time the northern lights came into view. The main color was of course green, but there were also reddish and blue colors. Very bright and active aurora borealis, after all we pilots had been given a warning about strong space radiation.
Photo taken with iPhone 11 pro phone camera. Unfortunately, I'm quite the thumb in the middle of the palm when it comes to image processing, so these are what I got out of the camera.
