This famous asteroid that participated in the collision experiment finally rose far enough north that I could attempt to photograph it.
The amateurs had also photographed the tail caused by the collision, so I hoped that I would succeed in that as well.
Well, in the raw pictures, you couldn't see anything at all, but in the stacked picture, a thin tail is visible.
Actually, the asteroid orbiting Didymo, officially named S/2003 (65803) 1, is the source of the tail, but let the observation go by the name of the main asteroid.
