Visibility III / V
The morning dawned cloudy and rainy in Ulvila. I thought I wouldn't let the elf take away today's solar eclipse from me, so I took the reins into my own hands. After looking at the satellite images, I decided to drive towards Vaasa, where according to the satellite images it would be clear. I drove towards the north racing against the clock and the clouds. In the end, I found a suitable observation spot in the area of Mustasaari municipality, approx. 20 km south of Vaasa. When I got to the place and got the observation rigs together, the eclipse had already started. I was able to see the eclipse up to the maximum and a bit after. The clouds arrived around 1:25 p.m. when the maximum was already over. But it was worth going for a drive! :)
Picture at the time of maximum eclipse, 62?lipsed by the sun. The camera clock is 4 minutes ahead of time (the correct time is 1:16 p.m.).

Hienosti handlattu!
Hieno kuva ja upea juttu, että edes joku onnistui kuvaamaan tuon tapahtuman. Täällä Valkeakoskella taivas oli aivan pilvessä.
Taas yksi piste lisää meille Vaasaan Suomen aurinkoisimpana kuntana. Mustasaarelaiset eivät halua jostain syystä kuitenkaan meihin liittyä...
