Binocular comet ZTF - 20.1.2023 at 22.30 - 20.1.2023 at 23.50 Laukaa Observation number 111505

Visibility III / V

Aleksi Ruotsila, Jyväskylän Sirius

I was able to forget the longer exposures when I realized how fast the tail of the comet was moving relative to the comet. In the videos (especially the version without stars) you can see the movement of the tail during about an hour. The picture has a total of 10 min of exposure (20x30sec).

Mielestäni yksi parhaimmista havainnoista tällä hetkellä (22.1.2023) Taivaanvahdin osalta tästä ko. komeetasta.
Todella hienosti olet onnistunut saamaan yhden pyrstön liikkeistäkin tallennettua!

Kiitos! Oli kyllä mielenkiintoista havaita kuinka dynaaminen kohde on kyseessä. Melko toivoton tilanne näiden pilvien kanssa, mutta toivottavasti tulee vielä uusi mahdollisuus.
