Visibility III / V
Comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF) as seen from the Ulvila observatory. In light-polluted conditions, the comet was mostly only visible as a round, hazy coma. No visual tail was seen. It is difficult to tell where the comma begins and ends, therefore determining the diameter of the comma is difficult. The diameter of the coma is conservatively estimated from the drawing.
In the middle of the coma, a bright central brightness. The brightness of the coma increases strongly towards the center. The comet was moving quite quickly at the moment of observation and the movement could be easily detected during my observation. The speed of the comet at the moment of observation is about 12 arc minutes per hour. The comet moved to the northwest, the direction of the comet's movement is marked with an arrow on the observation plot. Brightness observation with 10x50 binoculars. The comet was easily visible with 10x50 binoculars. It was not visible to the naked eye, at least under these conditions.
