Binocular comet ZTF - 27.1.2023 at 20.30 Nurmijärvi Observation number 111762

Visibility I / V

Emma Bruus, Ursa (Etelä-Suomi)

These conditions of observation would not be remembered at the evening campfire of Cygnus. And the poets wouldn't come right now to compose ethereal ballads about 'the magic night when the stars shone brightly'. A certificate of honor would not be awarded for blustery weather. And no medals for Klaukkala's light pollution conditions.

A mass of clouds rolled in from the southeast, like an alligator from the deepest hole in a suburban sewer in Vantaa. But it didn't help to complain, this was the best weather for a month. Maybe even for two months. There were no guarantees about the weather of the coming month. So you should soon find a comet somewhere in the northern sky of a yeast tree. And that's it! With a little raking with the binoculars, a small greenish patch of haze was found.
