Visibility II / V
I observed a ZTF comet for the third time this year. The comet is now mag 5. It was not distinguishable with the naked eye due to the moonlight and frost, and there was probably a faint aurora veil in the sky.
With the camera, ZTF was found in Ajomiehe immediately inside the ϵ Aur triangle. At first I assumed that there would be nothing to shoot because of the moon, but the DSS image processing amazingly brought out the comet. The last image is one original unedited raw image.
If the moonlight fades and the sky is clear, you can still get good pictures from this.
