Visibility I / V
While editing the northern lights photos, I noticed something special in the photos. Like dunes, but red.
More likely, it is a well-formed air glow. In the pictures, the glow could already be felt around midnight, but it got significantly stronger after the heaviest substorm of the night.
This is also associated with the disappearance of the sar-arc that was visible all night. The glow in the air also faded quickly after the aurora borealis flared up.
The pictures have been cropped with a rather heavy hand.
