Starlink G2-8 - 25.3.2023 at 03.35 - 25.3.2023 at 03.42 Tervola Observation number 113783

Visibility IV / V

The light phenomenon/string of pearls was visible in the northwest/north direction. Star-like light balls moving relatively quickly and repeatedly in the horizontal plane moved like a string of pearls from left to right. The phenomenon was somewhat reminiscent of light streak projectiles or the projectiles of some kind of Star Wars pulse beam weapon or spaceship. In the picture above the trees, you can faintly see that "light chain", there were approx. 15 - 20 light balls in the chain, the number of which remained the same even though the chain was moving. The actual length of the chain is not clear from the picture, which was almost triple with the naked eye. The balls were also quite bright and very impressive.

Tero Sipinen - 25.3.2023 at 17.37 Report this
