A fireball at night, as bright as a crescent moon - 28.3.2023 at 22.54 Helsinki Observation number 113857

Visibility III / V

While looking at the sky in a parking lot in Helsinki's Roihuvuori, I noticed a falling object approaching from the southern sky on its way to the northwest. Looking more closely, two brighter objects seemed to pass through the sky, accompanied by clusters of a few smaller pieces, disappearing behind the trees and tall apartment building in the northwest direction. Either it was a very long-lasting bolide that broke into pieces, an asteroid that hit the atmosphere, or falling space debris. However, the object was slower than the long-lasting shooting stars I had observed before. In addition, the object's journey across the sky could refer specifically to an asteroid or space debris. I've seen a few similar phenomena on YouTube videos, some labeled as falling space debris and some as asteroids hitting the atmosphere. I also got a picture taken of the object, which is what it is due to light pollution and the image quality of the phone camera. It was also unfortunate that I didn't get a video of the object in a hurry.
